Hi, I am Licia Ginne, a psychotherapist. I have been working
in the field of mental of health for almost 30 years, received
my California License as a Marriage & Family Therapist
over 25 years ago and maintain a private psychotherapy practice
in Santa Monica, a beach city in Los Angeles, California.
In my years of experience and training I have had been fortunate
to have the experience of working in many different types
of treatment settings; community mental health centers, in-patient
and out-patient psychiatric hospitals, drug and alcohol treatment
programs, sexual addiction outpatient program, eating disorder
programs and had the amazing experience of working in the
John Bradshaw Treatment program here in Los Angeles, California.
The work we can do is collaborative, together we will understand
the meanings behind your thoughts, feelings and attitudes.
Together as we understand your belief system you find you
have more options in your life. I have found that my perspective
of me and the world has been colored by the views of the relationships
I have been in. What I have learned is not all these perspectives
are true and they may have helped me survive before but they
are getting in my way of succeeding now. In our work you will
discover some of these false beliefs and begin to develop
new beliefs as you begin to have different experiences.
I work with those who have feelings of hopelessness, anxiety,
fear, depression and who are feeling stuck in their lives.
I work with those seeking relationships, have feelings of
loneliness and those unhappy in their relationship. I work
with couples on improving their relationships, resolving problems,
anger, resentments, infidelity, communicating and those seeking
divorce or not sure if to divorce. Couples who encounter problems
with alcohol, drugs, sex addiction, affairs, financial difficulties,
communication and anger issues,just to name a few.
I work with adults in individual, couples or group psychotherapy.
I work with all types of issues and concerns and hope you
